An open-air gym is to be launched inside Nageswara Rao Park in Luz.
The equipment and accessories for this gym have been fixed on to the floor at a space located on the south eastern side of the park between two walking pathways.
The earth in this small plot where plants once grew was dug up, a brick-and-mortar foundation and platform was constructed and the equipment fixed recently.
The equipment will allow people who frequent the park to indulge in simple exercises in the open.
Similar open-air gyms have been set up in large parks across the state.
