This is for Carnatic music rasikas. A special event celebrating the music of vidwan Madurai Mani Iyer will be held on June 17, 5 pm onwards at Gokhale Sastri Hall, Karpagambal Nagar, Luz.
Historian and arts promoter Lalitharam intends to talk about various facets of Mani Iyer’s music and play select portions of the vintage music which reverberates 50 years since his death.
These ‘listening sessions’ have been hosted for sometime now by the MMI Rasikas Association. Open to all.
