S.Ve. Shekher has been granted bail by a city court in Egmore on Wednesday. This is in connection with the case filed against him by the Chennai city police – the charge is for sharing a derogatory post against women journalists.
Shekher appeared before the Egmore court with police security. He has been asked to appear before the court again on July 18. A charge sheet will be given to him then.
