Brahma Gana Sabha is presenting Shraddha Theatres next new play titled “Avvai” on June 15 (Friday) at Sivagami Petachi Auditorium, Alwarpet. The play starts at 7 p.m. and is ticketed.
A note on the play says that ‘this play challenges the garb (a distinct kind of clothing) of old age imposed on the ancient poet. The play also attempts to reveal the perspectives of life in Sangam age and the five eco-zones (Kuriniji, Mullai, Marudham, Palai, Neithal) from the basis of the female world in this play.
