Skechers, the American brand of footwear has opened its store on TTK Road in Alwarpet. The sprawling 1200 sq ft. showroom showcases footwear for men, women and children.
“This brand is famous for its sports performance based footwear with memory foam in the soles and is one of the largest international athletic footwear brand”, said Suresh, manager of the new store.
“The company offers two footwear categories: a lifestyle division that includes Skechers memory foam, relaxed fit comfort shoes, and a performance division that includes Skechers GOrun and Skechers GOwalk footwear”.
The new product, Skechers GOwalk Evolution Ultra comes with a cushioning and high-rebound ultra pillar technology for walking comfort. It has a sock-like comfort on the upper with an air cooled insole system.
Skechers also offers formal footwear with products priced from Rs. 4499.
“The insole is made of memory foam and this makes it very comfortable for the user,” said Suresh.
Children’s footwear sizes start from UK 12.5 and is priced at Rs.1499 onwards.
We are told that this store will soon display and sell other Skechers merchandise like sportswear, bags, watches and eyewear.
