Continuing the talk series based on Madras in the 40s, historian and writer Venkatesh Ramakrishnan will talk on movie mogul AV Meiyappa Chettiar, the man behind AVM Studios and AVM Productions.
The talk is on Nov.9, 6 p.m. onwards at Arkay Centre in Luz ( opp. Vivek store) and is open to all.
The series is organised by Madras Local History Group; it had just gfot 20,000 members and is active on Facebook.
