The December art festival 2018 and the golden jubilee celebrations of Brahma Gana Sabha is to be inaugurated by the vice president of India, M. Venkaiah Naidu on December 2 evening at the Sivagami Pethachi Hall, Luz Church Road, Alwarpet.
Artistes who will be decorated with awards include K J Yesudoss, Malavika Sarukkai, S. Varadarajen and Padmavathy Ananthagopalan.
The event starts at 6 p.m. and guests have to carry their invite cards and be seated early, says a note from the sabha.
