Communities at some events say a prayer for CRPF personnel killed in Kashmir

Members of the community living on P. S. Sivasamy Salai First Street got together on Saturday night in the street corner and held a short, silent candle-light meet to pay tribute to the CRPF personnel who were killed in Pulwama, Kashmir.

This meet was the idea of children Akil and Shravan.  They requested families from this cul-de-sac to join them, says Sandhya, a resident. Photo here is of the meet.

At a few events in Mylapore on Saturday, like at the tribute to dance guru K J Sarasa by classical dancers the audience and artistes observed a minute’s silence.

Priests at Mass on Sunday at San Thome Cathedral also said a prayer to remember the slain CRPF personnel.
