A.R. Krishnan, 80 years old, passed away after a brief illness on March 2.He served at Enfield for 35 years and was a resident of Mylapore for over 30 years.
He was the president and manager of cricket team Clive Cricket Club.
After retirement in the late 90’s due to priorities he shifted to Okkiyampettai near Perungudi but he used to visit Mandaveli regularly to meet his friends.
“He was kind hearted practical young at heart and wonderful human being”, said an acquaintant C.R. Balaji. “He was a friend, philosopher and guide to us young friends who used to throng his home”.
He is survived by wife Geetha, son K. Anand and daughter Latha.
