Applications for a three year music course at the Advanced School of Carnatic Music at Music Academy, Alwarpet will be issued from June 1. Faculty members include noted musicians R. Vedavalli, Trichur Ramachandran, Suguna Varadachari, Neyveli Santhanagopalan, Sriram Parasuram and several others.
The Academy also offers part time courses in instrumental music (mridangam, veena and violin) and vocal classes for beginners (four years). Last date to submit the filled in forms is June 30. For details contact 28112231, 28115162.
