Mylapore MLA R. Nataraj has opened a gymnasium on San Thome High Road in R. A. Puram. Built in the property of Chennai Corporation next to the Amma Unavagam here, the gym is yet to be fitted with exercise equipment.
A cycling unit was placed in the room for the MLA to do the honours.
Chennai Corporation staff said that the gym will be ready for the public in a couple of weeks.
