A youth residing in Pallakkumanagar ( opposite the old Kamadhenu Theatre) died after he was brutally attacked at daytime by a gang near the Valluvar statue bus stop on Royapettah High Road on Sunday afternoon.
Mylapore police said a gang is said to have arrived on bikes and attacked the youth here and then fled. The severely injured man was rushed to hospital and he passed away.
Police said they are going to study the images catptured on CCTV cameras on this road to zero in of the attackers.
