Savera Hotel is hosting the first edition of Naturally Chennai curated by Green Goddesses on Wednesday, June 19.
This show made of talks, demonstrations and interactions on all things to do with recycling stuff, conservation and using alternate resources is an idea from the table of hotel promoter Nina Reddy.
The event is from 10 am to 8 pm at Hotel Savera, Dr .R. K.Salai, and is open to all.
There are free workshops on organic foodstuff use and healthy cooking, on gluten free baking, dairy-free alternatives, vegan desserts and on composting, says Raji Benny, Head-Business Development & Public Relations.
Here is the main agenda:
10.30 am— Inauguration of Green Goddesses initiative
11 am – Talk by D Suresh, popularly known as “Solar Suresh”. On how he has set up many accessories to tap the sun, air and waste in his house.
12 pm – Anju Agarwal on “ Composting “- a workshop on how to consciously recycle waste
12.30 pm -Vegan cooking workshop by Shweta Hasija
1 pm – Vegan dessert workshop by Priyanka Kapoor
4 pm – Gluten Free baking workshop by Keto Kanteen
5 pm – Dairy free alternatives workshop by Earth Story
6 pm – Put waste to use – A workshop for the public.
