Hotel Savera will have a new and unique space for entertainment soon. A space for comedy shows where guests can laugh their guts out even as they sip on a cocktail and partake small eats.
SoCo, South of Comedy is a collaboration between the hotel and Evam, the entertainment company based in the neighbourhood.
The space has a smart stage, professional lighting and seating that allows guests in all corners to get a view of the actors.
SoCo is coming up in the space where the hotel’s famed Bamboo Bar was located. The bar was temporarily shifted to the mezzanine even as work on SoCo got underway.
The city has been hosting many standup comics on the weekend for some time now. SoCo could spice up the city’s entertainment quotient.
