Yet another change in the post of Deputy Commissioner of Police of Mylapore zone. Sekar Sanjay who was till last weekend the ADC to the state governor at Raj Bhavan, is taking charge.
He takes charge from A. Jayalakshmi who moves to the Cyber Crime department. She was appointed to the Mylapore post in early August and has been transferred in less than 4 months.
Much of the time of a DCP posted here is taken up by security and bandobust duties since the zone covers routes covered by the chief minister and VIPs.
