Mylapore police have arrested on Tuesday a 26-year-old resident of Pallakkuma Nagar, Mylapore who is accused of having caused the death of another during a drunken argument.
It is said that the two were known to each other and on Monday night sat down to consume liquor. A argument broke out and the accused is said to have whipped out a knife and slashed his friend’s leg. The victim bled to death, police said.
