Amid the Corona virus outbreak, traffic police in the neighbourhood have started wearing N-95 masks.
Said a traffic policeman posted at Luz Corner, “We are asked to wear the masks as a precautionary measure to prevent infection from affected people while checking drunk and drive cases.”
Some people visiting public places like Sri Kapaleeswarar Temple, and the Marina beach are also seen wearing masks.
