Now, you can have hot idlis and crisp vadas with your favourite cup of coffee at Vivekananda Coffee shop on the Marina.
The shop has recently introduced tiffin items on its menu. Its management has also renamed the shop as ‘Chennai Coffee’.
Food items including idli, pongal, dosa, wheat chappati and parotta will be available from 4 a.m. to 10 p.m. here.
This food joint, known for its filter coffee has also introduced a range of snacks. It includes vadas (masala, keerai), bajjis (vazhaikkai, chilli, vazhapoo), samosas, cutlets, and sundal.
Says a staff here, “All food items are prepared fresh and served hot.” A set of two idlis is priced at Rs. 40.
