More and more public spaces manned by government agencies are being temporarily closed in view of the corona virus.
Hundreds of people who walk, exercise, play and wander around the popular Nageswara Rao Park in Luz have been returning home disappointed – the gates are locked and a small notice says it all.
Regulars said that they chose to walk on the four streets that run around the park like Luz Avenue and warm up and warm down in quiet nooks.
CIT Colony’s Corporation park has also been closed, said people who walk here.
Others say parks can be kept open for at least 3 hours in the morning so people can get their daily dose of exercises.
