Chennai Corporation has identified 12 virus-positive cases (as of April 10 ) from Teynampet zone (zone 9), under which Mylapore area falls.
Says Sanitary Inspector Ravishankar (zone 9), who is in charge of monitoring virus-positive cases, “Of the 12, one positive case is from San Thome, and the remaining 11 virus-positive cases are from Choolaimedu and Triplicane.”
The one virus-positive case at San Thome is that of the 65-year-old man who was tested positive in mid-March. He is now undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Chennai.
