More than 30 lakhs spent by Sri Ramakrishna Math on coronavirus relief

Sri Ramakrishna Math, Mylapore has spent more than 30 lakhs towards various activities aimed at providing relief for the needy during this lockdown.

20875 kgs of rice, 2643 litres of oil and 1900 kg of vegetables has been distributed to the poor and needy; 565 auto drivers, taxi drivers, porters and families of fishermen have received grocery kits. 400 migrant workers staying at different relief camps in the city have received cooked food.

In addition to this, 2850 masks and sanitizers for police officials were recently handed over to the deputy commissioner of police. They have also distributed cooked food to over 20000 adults and children at Meyyur village.
