St. Isabel’s Hospital in Luz is now open only for emergency cases. The hospital has closed its outpatient department in view to prevent the virus spread.
Says a staff at this hospital, “As there is a possibility of patients with virus symptoms visiting our hospital, we have closed the outpatient department and limited admissions at our hospital. We want to prevent the virus spread due to crowding.”
However, the hospital is attending to all the casualties. “We have adequate staff to attend to casualties 24/7. Duty doctors are also available to treat emergency medical issues like high fever.”
If a person shows virus-like symptoms, she says, they would be sent to government authorised labs for testing.
