Dignity Foundation, an NGO for seniors based in Anna Nagar continues to reach out to seniors at its Day Care centre in Mulimanagar, Foreshore Estate.
This past week, it carried out its second round of ration distribution here.
Around 40 seniors were provided with masks, hand sanitizers and provisions including rice, dal, oil and rava.
Says Felista Jose, head of Chennai Chapter of Dignity Foundation, “The event was well organized. All seniors wore masks. They were seated at specific places following social distancing.”
She says that they also gave them a demo on hand washing and spread awareness on usage of masks.
