Virus cases spread to new areas in Mylapore

Since the past few days, virus cases have been spreading to new areas of Mylapore, that remained unaffected till now.

Community activist Bhaskar Sheshadri reports that cases have been reported from CIT Colony, Custian Beach Road, Dooming Street and Karpagam Gardens area, that had not reported cases till recently.

Also, the virus seems to be spreading within family members. At Radhakrishnapuram, a colony in R.A.Puram three cases have been reported within a family.

Also in mid-May, four family members tested virus-positive at Rosary Church Street. Initially, Corporation’s revenue officer who was residing at that street turned virus-positive. Later, his wife and two children also tested positive for the virus.
