Boys on seashore amuse themselves catching small fish

In these listless times of lockdown and boredom, children find their own ways to amuse themselves or indulge in their interests. Or let time pass lightly.

Young boys who reside in the tenements of the thickly inhabited colony of Srinivasapuram, in the Pattinapakkam zone have the sea for company all the time.

So when some of them get bored, they turn to the shore for some fun time.

This season, the boys have spotted baby fish in the waters close to the shore. So some of them pick up torn or junked pieces of fishing nets and trap little fish and transfer them into large large glass bottles. “We display them at home,” said one of the local boys. “This is the season when you spot lots of small fish here.”
