This traffic policeman talks about the virus to motorists detained for not wearing helmet

Traffic police officer Ravichandran of Mylapore treats minor traffic offenders a little differently nowadays at the Luz Circle where he is often posted.

He asks motorists driving without their helmets strapped to their heads to park their bikes on the side and wait for him. Once he has a group of 5 or 7 offenders he gives them a snappy talk – on the effects the Corona virus has on people and on the core steps we must follow to avoid spread of the virus.

The officer says he finds the snappy detention of offenders the best time to communicate vital messages of these times.
