TANTEA’s tea powders are available for sale at Mylapore Head Post Office off Kutchery Road. TANTEA – Tamilnadu Tea Plantation Corporation Limited is an undertaking of the TN state government and is one of the biggest black tea producers in India.
The Business Development Unit of the post office recently started selling its green and masala tea powders in 250-gram packs. While masala tea is sold in the form of powder, green tea is sold as leaves.
A pack of masala tea is priced at Rs 160.
Tea sales will be on at the post office from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on all days except Sunday. The BD unit is at the basement of the post office complex. For details contact 24951737.
