In an effort to make ghee affordable for poor families, Aavin has recently introduced it in small 10ml packs.
Packed in red coloured sachets, they are available for sale at the Aavin parlour at C.P. Ramaswamy Road, Alwarpet. Each pack is priced at Rs 10.
Says a staff at Aavin parlour in Alwarpet, “Although, we have been selling ghee for a long time, we have introduced them in small measures to make it affordable for underprivileged families, especially for the Pongal festival.”
She adds that soon such ghee packets will be available for sale at all Aavin shops in the neighbourhood.
