Traffic movement is to be restricted again on the Marina beach road on January 27 in connection with the inauguration of the the memorial/mausoleum to former chief minister J. Jayalalaithaa over her grave on the Marina.
Vehicles from the Adyar – San Thome side will not have access to the road from 6 a.m. onwards till the event gets over.
So if you have to head north from San Thome side, you are advised by Traffic Police to turn towards R. K. Mutt Road and Luz and then head to the city centre.
Traffic will be curtailed on the north side near the War Memorial.
