Dignity Foundation joined hands with Germaltes Hospital to organise a one-day, free screening camp for skin diseases for benefit of the senior citizens who reside in the kuppams of San Thome.
The camp was held at Dignity’s space in Mullima Nagar on July 23. The medical team from Germaltes Hospital consisted of one dermatologist, assistant nurses and three volunteers.
Dignity Foundation’s deputy manager Merita Joseph co-ordinated.
86 senior citizens attended the camp and benefited from medical examination. The medical team also arranged for free blood pressure tests. Merita said that all beneficiaries were provided with free medicines by the medical team.
