Mylapore MLA Dha. Velu this week undertook a tour of all the major temples in the area.
He says he wanted to follow-up on the directives of the HR&CE minister of intensive cleaning of not only the temple campus but also the area around it.
Velu says he found the work carried out in all places was satisfactory.
However, repair and maintenance works that are required in some temples will be studied later.
