Two blocks of Sumanth Apartments on Bhaktavatsalam Road in Mylapore present a grey, ghostly look every at daytime.
In there, only two small families remain and they say they will move out soon.
The rest who resided here have all moved out. It is said they were advised to do so because the structure was not stable.
A few weeks ago, a portion of a balcony of one apartment crashed and is said to have killed one person here. One more aged person was injured. It could not be confirmed if a case was filed with the local police on this mishap.
All we hear now is that the owners of the flats here have chosen to go in for re-development of the property.
