Inner Wheel Club of Chennai Symphony initiated a joint project with IWC Midtown, Central Aditya, Esplanade, United, Melody and KK Nagar to sponsor school fees for 30 students at Rani Meyyammai Girls School, R A Puram.
A note from the Club says some of these students have lost their parents to Covid, some of theirs parents lost their jobs during the pandemic.
The Club also honoured the teachers at this school on the occasion of Teachers Day. District Chairman Kamala Selvam was present during the event.
