MLA promises facilities at GCC-run school which are now in pathetic state

Mylapore MLA Dha Velu says he intends to pay special attention to the core needs of the Chennai School in  Bheemanapet, Alwarpet which runs classes from primary to the higher secondary level.

This school faces many problems, some severe infrastructure issues and though GCC engineers have assessed the issues long ago no followup action has been forthcoming.

The kitchen ,the  toilets for girls and boys and proper drinking water pipelines have not got any attention and students suffer. More so girls who must have proper washrooms here.

Though the higher secondary classes are full, teachers have had to strain to get admissions for Classes 6 to 9 since many other GCC and private schools exist around.

The MLA says he is aware of the issues and will personally push for funds and works to be undertaken.
