Rang Mahal from Kolkata is here every year to arrange for the display and sale of handloom products, with the focus on the local weaves of West Bengal, cutting out middlemen.
The sale is now on at C P Art Centre, Eldams Road in Alwarpet, just in time for Deepavali sales.
The display includes starch-free cotton saris, ahimsa silk saris and Tussar silks.
The saris carry local styles of hand painting, embroidery and cut work.
Cotton saris start at Rs.800 while the silks start at Rs.6,000.
The sale is on till Nov.1, 10 am to 8 pm.
