Cathedral carol groups will perform in colonies. No personal visits to homes of parishioners.

The San Thome Cathedral’s carol-singing caravan will roll this year; it could not do so last Christmas due to the pandemic regulations.

But the carollers will not visit the houses of the parishioners but will sing a carol or two at some two dozen spots inside colonies where many Catholic families reside in the San Thome zone.

“We are organising two carol groups who will move around in vans over three evenings,” says Fr. Arulraj, parish priest at the Cathedral.

The rounds are to be made December 17 onwards and by the members of the Thamizh choirs here.
