Mylaporeans who often commute by MTC buses want two more ‘old’ routes restored.
There is a big demand for restarting route 3A. The route from Mylapore temple tank via Dr Ranga Road, C P Ramaswamy Road and onwards to Anna Salai.
Some people want Abiramapuram and R. A. Puram to be covered by a key bus route.
There is also a demand for a bus on route 23B.
Mylaporeans say this service helps train passengers who board at Egmore, besides the route covering areas not served from Mylapore now.
These demands have come up after the MLA and MTC got the bus service on route 5B going this week.
