The Society of Saint Vincent De Paul unit attached to the parish of Our Lady of Guidance Church in R A Puram, organised a Christmas programme at the Saint Lazarus Multi Purpose Hall on Saturday, Dec.18 for the benefit of the families adopted by the unit.
The programme commenced with a prayer led by parish priest Fr. Y. F. Bosco. The assistant parish priest Fr. Lourdes Marcel and Bro. Satish were also present.
The event was kept simple due to pandemic regulations.
New clothes and cake boxes were distributed to 64 school children belonging to Fatima and Lazarus School, while sarees, dhotis, bedsheets, nighties and cake boxes were distributed to the adopted families of the Saint Vincent De Paul unit.
The event was organised by Previn, the president of the group and his team.
