Two ‘sabha’ canteens are managing to draw foodies despite the average footfalls at the sabhas for the concerts. Foodies used to the December Season food are not letting go of the window to tuck in. One operates in the MFAC campus in Mylapore and the other at Narada Gana Sabha in Alwarpet.
Well-known caterer Saasthalaya Catering set up his kitchens at the rear of Narada Gana Sabha auditorium campus on TTK Road on Dec.17.
Ramesh Krishnan, the promoter says that their daily elai sappadu is getting a good response. It sure is full on the weekends. He charges Rs.350 for the lunch and promises a big meal on New Year’s day.
This canteen is open till January 5, 2022. Open for breakfast, lunch and tiffin/ dinner, 7 a.m. to 9.30 p.m.
