BJP cadres offer prayers at Mylapore temple for well-being of prime minister

BJP leaders and cadres in the city picked up on where their partymen across some parts of the country began, offering prayers for the safety of prime minister Narendra Modi after his convoy was stranded during a tour of Punjab, on a route where farmers carried out a protest.

On Thursday, BJP MLA and leader Vanathi Srinivasan led some 50 plus people into Sri Kapali Temple in Mylapore to offer prayers for the ‘well-being of prime minister Modi’.

The temple, like all other places of worship are closed to people Friday to Sunday.
