Temples, churches and mosques shut: pandemic time regulations

Scenes at Sri Kapaleeswarar Temple where like all other places of prayer, the doors are shut to comply with state’s regulations at pandemic time – shut from Friday to Sunday.

At Kolavizhi Amman Temple, women who visited the temple lit camphor at the closed gate, prayed and left.

The doors of Sri Mundakakanni Amman Temple were firmly shut.

Temples and churches are allowed to carry on with the rituals / pujas and prayers/ religious services inside but the public will have no access.
