The building where R. A. Puram Post Office used to function has been occupied by the owner of the property – the Chettinad group.
A signboard here mentions that the Chettinad Urban Medical Center is to function here.
This morning, while dropping in we were told there is a a doctor who holds a MD degree in general medicine who has been appointed for the time being.
Consultation for ordinary ailments will be open here. Major complications will be referred to Chettinad Hospital.
Work is still on here to complete the medical facility here.
