Parampara Tulsi Seva donated tulsi saplings on the occasion of “Amalaki Ekadasi” and “Karadaiyan Nonbu” which coincided on the same day this year.
Fasting and praying on the account of Ekadashi is a tradition and married women, on Karadaiyan Nonbu pray to goddess Ambal for the well-being of their husbands, the fast is broken after completing the puja.
Parampara Tulsi Seva was organised at Sri Vedantha Desikar Devasthanam, Mylapore ; here, people received the tulsi saplings; tulsi saplings were also planted in the temple nandavanam.
Parampara has been donating tulsi saplings for many years now, and distributed hundred thousand this far, it states in a media release.
