Dr. Prabha’s presentation on T.R. Mahalingam is a great tribute to her grandfather. As a boy going to P.S, High School in 1950 I used to walk from my house in Sullivan Garden Street to Royapettah high Road and south along R. K. Mutt Road past Luz corner to the School. T. R. Mahalingam’s bungalow was just on the north of Royapettah HighRoad and his youngest brother Sankaran was my friend and would join me to the school. I do not know whether he is alive. Mahalingam just bought a Cadillac and that was the talk of the town!
