Dr. Srithika Kasturirangan, founder and director of Sri Kala Ranga School of Dance is leading her dancers to perform a thematic Bharatanatyam presentation – ‘Abiramiyin Arul Atral’ at the Sri Kapaleeswarar temple on July 16 (Saturday).
Srithika is based out of Alwarpet and take classes in Mylapore.
She says the recital “is in connection with the Guru Purnima that was on Wednesday . . we wanted to make an offering of dance at the temple. This is not part of any festival.”
