A different kind of jugalbandhi of music will be presented at Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Mylapore on Friday, Aug.6 evening to mark the birth centenary of legendary vocalist Bhimsen Joshi.
The concert artistes are Nagaraj Rao Havaldar, Omkarnath Havaldar, P. Unnikrishnan, Lalgudi GJR Krishnan and Vijayalakshmi, Uthara Pattathi and Uthara Unnikrishnan.
The event starts at 6 p.m. and since the state governor R N Ravi is chief guest at the formal function, guests must be seated by 5.15 p.m.
Open to all.
