The second Alumni Meet of Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda College held this past weekend saw a good turnout of its many graduates.
There was a better participation of the alumni from the 1970 batch to the 2000 batch, across various streams.
Raju Iyer, president of Institute of Cost Accountants of India, R. Bhoopathy, past president of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and V. Murali, central council member The Institute of Cost Accountants of India paid tributes to Dr Prof. N Venkatasubramanian, considered to be the architect of the outstanding research and study at the college’s Department of Chemistry and also the late Principal of Vivekananda College, who passed away recently.
R. Sivakumar, chartered accountant curated the day’s event.
Post the formal sessions, the alumni spent some lighter moments together and then followed lunch.
