Rotary sets up Interact Club for students of CSI School for the Deaf at San Thome

The Rotary Club of Chennai Silk City of RI District 3232 has recognised and registered the CSI Matriculation Higher Secondary School for the Deaf at San Thome and formed the Rotary Interact Club here.

The new office bearers took charge on Sept. 21.

The installation was held in the presence of M. Renukalakshmi, president,  Alankar, director of youth services, Annapoorni, literacy chair, and Karpagam of Lions Cub along with the principal of the school, James .

The office bearers elected were Priyadarshini, R. Kailash and Nithesh Kumar -.Rubin is the teacher in charge.

The Rotary Interact Clubs bring together young people ages 12-18 to develop leadership skills while discovering the power of service above self.
