This year’s Navarathri celebrations will start at the Sri Kapaleeswarar Temple on Monday evening with goddess Karpagambal being carried within the temple complex on the anna vahana.
Ambal will be kept at the Navarathri mandapam providing darshan to the devotees till 9pm.
The evening’s event will end with deepaarathanai and presentation of the sacred songs by the othuvars.
