For months now, TANGEDCO workers have been working at laying a hi-tension massive cable line from the Luz Church Road end to the Dr. R. K. Salai end, to save itself trouble and lay the ground for Chennai Metro to excavate the underground parts of Luz for its Phase 2 rail line.
The road that runs through Karpagambal Nagar, P. S. Sivaswami Salai and R. H. Road at the Dr R. K. Salai end has been deep dug on one side but n ow, almost 50% of the road, carrying heavy traffic, is messy.
